Yas Lightowler of KHAIA Interior Design in Esher Surrey stood next to a red designer chair in a minimalist interior design she has designed for a super prime property

From the intense energy and colour of her early years in Ecuador to time spent living in Spain and the UK, Yas Lightowler draws on diverse cultures to inject her inimitable ethos into KHAIA. Her work is grounded in the honesty and simplicity of Bauhaus principles, where ‘form follows function’.

Inspired by Dieter Rams and his vision of ‘less, but better’, her designs are about subtleties and elevated materials: intimate, quiet luxury with a dedication to making every moment matter.

A graduate of the prestigious KLC School of Design, her work can be seen in projects across London and Surrey where her innate creativity and economics background bring a distinctive quality to those homes.
